Catholic Land Movement – Omaha

We’re the first (with hopefully more to come!) Catholic Land Movement Chapter in Nebraska. For more info on the Catholic Land Movement itself see https://catholiclandmovement.info/

I summarize it as “Catholic Homesteading”. It’s more than that and less (because not everyone can homestead), but it’s an easy simplification. We’re trying to help people grow in their Faith, teach them more about growing plants and animals, self sufficiency, build community…. the list goes on and on. And all for the Glorification of God.

So a bit about ourselves: just a pretty basic Catholic couple. We’ll have 6 kids here shortly. We don’t farm (yet. I’m still hopeful). We have a bunch of chickens in a homemade coop and a 1000 sq foot garden.
